Understanding ISA/IEC 62443 Certification Pathways: A Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on ISASecure, IECEE, & Private Schemes (28 May 2026)

Join ISASecure and ISAGCA for this co-sponsored webinar ... As the ISA/IEC 62443 series is increasingly adopted as a global foundation for securing Industrial Automation and Control Systems, certification pathways are becoming a key consideration across the industrial supply chain. However, ISASecure, the IECEE Cybersecurity Program, and private schemes differ materially in governance models, assessment approaches, and practical implications.

Moderated by SZ Lin (林上智), President of the ISA Taiwan Section, this webinar brings together perspectives from a Certification Body, a Product Supplier, and an Asset Owner to explore how these pathways differ and what those differences mean in practice. Joining SZ are panelists Kenny Lee, Head of Cybersecurity Laboratory, SGS Taiwan; George Hsia, Product Manager, IPC, Moxa Inc.; and Dennis Hackney, Ph.D., Vice Chairman, ISAGCA.

The discussion will cover key aspects, including governance and trust models, scope definition and assurance boundaries, interpretation of assessment results, certificate maintenance, and evaluator competence.

This dialogue is intended to provide a clearer basis for stakeholders seeking to better understand how different certification pathways relate to operational priorities, assurance expectations, and global market considerations.
