Contact the ISASecure Managing Director and Indicate Your Interest in Becoming an ISASecure IB

The managing director will schedule a teleconference to provide details about the accreditation process and direct you to the most appropriate ISO/IEC 17011 AB for processing your IB accreditation.

Complete the Application to Become an IB

If being an ACSSA IB is the right path for you, complete the ISASecure-212 application and submit it to the ISASecure Managing Director. The ISASecure-212 application is a combined membership application and contract, including ISASecure fees for processing the application. The application must be signed by an authorized officer in your company.

Contact an Accreditation Body (AB)

Contact one of the ISO/IEC 17011 AB’s listed to plan and schedule the accreditation reviews. Each AB has their own fee schedule for the accreditation services. The ISASecure managing director can help you select which AB to use for your accreditation assessment and make directions if preferred.

The AB Performs the Accreditation Assessment for the IB Application

Upon completion of the review by the AB, the IB will receive formal accreditation when all non-conformances have been corrected. Sometimes the formal accreditation certificate might not be issued for 6-12 months after the accreditation assessment activity has been completed because the AB’s accreditation committee only meets once or twice per year. ISASecure has a policy and a process for granting provisional accreditation prior to issuance of the formal accreditation by the AB.

Enroll, Attend and Complete IC49 ISASecure ACSSA for Evaluators training and Pass IC49 post-test

Upon completion of your membership application, sign-up for the IC49 ISASecure ACSSA for Evaluators 3-day training class. As an ISASecure member you do receive a discount on the IC49 class. 

Upon completion of the IC49 training, IBs must take and pass the post-test.
