SecurityGate Announces Technical Membership with ISASecure, Haynes Joins as Marketing Chair

Durham, N.C., 12 July 2023 — SecurityGate, the leading SaaS Platform provider for OT cyber improvement, has joined the ISA Security Compliance Institute (ISCI) as a technical member. SecurityGate will collaborate with other subject matter experts and help drive the future of OT cyber security. In addition to the company’s technical membership, SecurityGate’s Chief Marketing Officer, Sean Haynes, is set to join as Chair of ISCI’s Marketing Committee. 

The ISASecure program, founded in 2007, is an ISA/IEC 62443 certification scheme with a mission to provide the highest level of assurance possible for the cybersecurity of automation control systems across all industry sectors. The program was founded by thought leaders from major critical infrastructure asset owners and leading automation suppliers and has evolved into the world’s most respected and recognized automation and control systems certification brand. 

The ISA/IEC 62443 standards, developed by the International Society of Automation and adopted by the International Electrotechnical Commission, are globally recognized as the most comprehensive foundation for securing automation and control systems from design through implementation and operation. SecurityGate offers the only complete automated workflow for ISA/IEC 62443-3-2 Risk Assessment standard, enabling Platform users to easily navigate the application of the standard for their systems under evaluation. 

As a technical ISASecure member, SecurityGate actively participates in weekly member meetings and collaborates with industry leaders from peer organizations to shape the direction and development of the ISASecure conformance program. The ISASecure membership further allows the SecurityGate team to consistently update and improve Platform workflows to align with the latest ISASecure updates.  

Sean Haynes, SecurityGate Chief Marketing Officer, was recently appointed as the Chair of the ISASecure Marketing Committee. As Chair of this committee, Haynes will be responsible for leading the development of strategies and plans that advocate for the adoption of ISASecure to secure and certify automation in critical infrastructure. Haynes is honored and excited to be able to utilize his knowledge and skills in support of the ISASecure mission.
